Title of Position: Machine Operator
Schedule: Monday-Friday 4 PM to 12 AM
Training Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 4 PM
Reports to: Plant Manager
Job Location: 803 N. McKinley Ave, Champaign, IL 61821
Purpose of the Position
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating machinery in department to meet goals and safety standards.

How You Will Make an Impact
- Ensure the Industry’s Best Customer Experience by ensuring alignment with the company’s Purpose, Mission, Strategy and ROCKS Core Values
- Operate a machine press, palletizer, cuber, loader/unloader, wrapper, kiln, crawler.
- Follow all lock out tag out policies and procedures and ensure the Team does as well.
- Willing and able to produce high quality units by following strict Company Standard Operator Procedures.
- Achieve Master Block Maker Certification.
- Recognize all internal and ASTM quality standards.
- Able to perform light electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
- Clean in accordance with 5S program.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
- Prior machine operator experience, mechanical experience and construction experience is preferred.
- Basic ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, using the English or Spanish language.
- Knowledge of how to use hand tools, multi-meters, pneumatic tools is required.
- Forklift experience is required.
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, crouch or crawl, reach with hands and arms, lift up to 80 pounds is required.
- Steel toe footwear is required.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check and an acceptable motor vehicle report.
